  • Toll does not request payment, customs fees or card details by SMS or email; the fee demand alone settles it
  • The link is a lookalike, not mytoll.com or tollgroup.com, and real updates mean logging in there yourself
  • If you never booked or expected a Toll consignment, the message cannot be genuine, because Toll only contacts the sender or receiver recorded on a shipment

What gives it away:

  • Asking for a card to 'rebook' a delivery is the harvest; genuine Toll parcel updates never involve entering payment details from a message
  • The domain doesn't match tollgroup.com or mytoll.com exactly, which is the one check that never lies
  • A forfeit-the-parcel deadline is theatre; real consignments are managed inside your myToll account, not on a countdown
