How do I cancel my subscription?+

Open the Settings app on your iPhone or iPad, tap your name at the top, then tap Subscriptions. Find Scam Scanner and tap Cancel Subscription. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period.

How do I restore my purchases?+

Open Scam Scanner, go to the paywall screen, and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

How many free scans do I get?+

Free users get 3 free scans (a one-time allowance, not per day). Upgrade to Pro for unlimited scans across all scan types.

What data is sent when I scan?+

When you scan, the text, URL, or extracted screenshot text is sent to our secure backend, which forwards it to the xAI Grok API for analysis. We do not send your personal account data, device identifiers, or raw images. See our Privacy Policy for full details.

How do I delete my account?+

Open Scam Scanner, go to Settings > Profile, and tap Delete Account. This removes all stored data. If you're using the app as a guest, simply deleting the app removes all local data.
